During his master\u2019s in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Twente, he worked on a design system for monopile lifting and handling tools \u2014 essential equipment used in the construction of offshore wind farms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">What attracted Harmen was the scale and complexity of the projects: massive steel structures, innovative engineering, and the contribution to sustainable energy.
