Als FEM Engineer Offshore bij KENC Engineering werk je binnen multidisciplinaire projectteams, bestaande uit een lead engineer en één of meerdere (FEM/project) engineers. In deze rol ligt jouw focus op het doorrekenen, analyseren en valideren van complexe constructies voor offshore toepassingen.
Je bent verantwoordelijk voor het uitvoeren van structurele analyses met behulp van Finite Element Analysis (FEA), waarbij je inzicht geeft in spanningen, vervormingen en veiligheidsmarges. Op basis van jouw berekeningen adviseer je over ontwerp optimalisaties en draag je bij aan technisch onderbouwde keuzes binnen het project.
De projecten waar je aan werkt zijn onder andere hijs- en installatietools voor het plaatsen van zware fundatiepalen voor offshore windparken. Jij zorgt ervoor dat deze constructies niet alleen voldoen aan de geldende normen en richtlijnen, maar ook veilig en efficiënt toepasbaar zijn in de praktijk.
